Casa Loma used to belong to some rich guy from europe

It cost him like a couple of million to built it way back then...

It was turned into a hotel for 3 yrs after he went broke.

Now its preserved as a historical site.

Some foundation took it over back in the 50's (I think)

They charge people to go see it and that's how the restoration fees are obtained.

Apparently many movies are also filmed here.

It is quite grand...

This is his library. I believe Xmen was filmed here.

No furniture though... but they had pics of how it was back then.
